Managing Offline Work Orders

Mobile Worx allows you to manage work orders from the Dashboard when your device has limited or no connection to the internet. You can make changes to work orders in offline mode, then sync your changes once you return to an area with improved service.

 

Online Header color is Blue

Offline Header color is Red

 

When switching to offline mode, a pop-up window will appear with two download options:

• The Only changes since: option allows you to use the data that was last downloaded to your device. The date and time listed corresponds to the last time you went offline.
• The Clean offline database option will download the entire database. *Note: It is recommended that you download a clean database when toggling offline to ensure you are using the most recent records.

 

Online/Offline Functionality

There are some features that are not available or have reduced functionality when in offline mode. For example, you cannot accept requests, assign staff other than yourself, or view the last five work orders on a Location or Asset record. In the tables below are a list of features and their online/offline functionality.
